Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Limex. By creating an account, connecting Limex, or purchasing funds, you agree to them.
The service and your account
Limex connects AI assistants and software to public and licensed research sources. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly revoke compromised API keys. You are responsible for activity under your account and must be legally able to enter this agreement.
Wallet, prices, and authorization
Prices are shown in US dollars before a paid research request. Public-source calls may be free; licensed-source calls debit the displayed or previewed amount from your Limex wallet only when useful results are returned. Your wallet cannot go below zero. The one-time promotional starting balance is not cash, is non-transferable, and is not refundable. Purchased funds are service credits, not a bank deposit, and may be refunded only where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. Limex may require a saved payment method and explicit confirmation for higher-cost research. We do not automatically reload funds unless you separately enable that feature.
Licensed and third-party data
Results may contain third-party information that is incomplete, delayed, inferred, or wrong. Limex grants only the rights it has. You may use results for lawful internal research and human-reviewed decision support. Preserve source links, attribution, notices, and provider-specific conditions returned with a result.
Prohibited uses
You may not scrape, bulk export, resell, sublicense, publish as a feed, reconstruct a provider database, share credentials, bypass limits, or remove safeguards. You may not use Limex for unlawful spam or surveillance, sensitive-trait inference, re-identification, consumer reporting, or solely automated eligibility decisions concerning employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, education, or public benefits. You may not use results to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or populate a reusable model or dataset unless Limex gives written permission.
Your content and feedback
You retain rights in content you submit. You give Limex a limited license to process it to operate, secure, and support the service. Do not submit content you lack permission to process. You may provide feedback, which Limex may use without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.
Availability, suspension, and changes
Providers, tools, prices, limits, and results can change. Limex may block a provider, suspend an account, or require deletion of affected data to comply with law, a provider agreement, a data-subject request, security needs, or misuse controls. We may update these terms prospectively and will post the effective date. Continued use after notice means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Limex is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limex disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for decisions made from results or for third-party sources and services. Limex results are not legal, investment, credit, employment, appraisal, medical, or other professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limex’s aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Limex in the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflicts rules. Courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction unless consumer law requires otherwise. Contact support@getlimex.com about these terms.
