Data Use Policy
This page summarizes the rules that follow public and licensed data returned through Limex.
Permitted use
Use Limex results for lawful research, analysis, and human-reviewed decision support. Preserve citations, attribution, warnings, and provider-specific notices.
No downstream data service
Do not bulk export, scrape, sell, sublicense, republish as a feed, or reconstruct a source database. Do not expose substantially similar functionality, share credentials, evade limits, or remove technical protections.
People and consequential decisions
Do not use Limex for spam, unlawful surveillance, consumer reporting, sensitive-trait inference, re-identification, or solely automated decisions that determine access to employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, education, or public benefits. Honor corrections and deletion notices communicated by Limex or a source.
AI use and accuracy
Limited results may be used as context for the current request. Unless Limex provides written permission, do not train, fine-tune, benchmark, evaluate, or populate a reusable model or dataset with results. Independently verify consequential facts.
Provider-specific controls
A result may carry narrower retention, territory, attribution, display, or deletion conditions. Those conditions control. Limex may remove access or require deletion when a license, law, data-subject request, or security event requires it.
